Dr. Elert will get you set up with a great physical therapist for your gait training, and work with your prosthetist to get your insurance to cover your prosthetic parts and supplies. She will help you learn how to keep your skin healthy and how to manage phantom pains. She will be available via direct email, phone or in person to coach you through this busy time in your recovery.

Dr. Elert does not accept insurance for her appointments, however she can fax orders for you to ensure your physical therapy and prosthesis are covered by your insurance policy, as these costs can be quite high otherwise.
